WebMessenger Mobile IM Service (WMS) is delivered using the WebMessenger Mobile Platform (WMP) - a carrier-grade client/server software that bridges a variety of wireless networks and mobile devices. This hosted service is available to your device 24x7 from our fully monitored and supported data center

WMP provides a robust and highly flexible architecture to ensure secure, real time communications. The platform seamlessly provides interoperable messaging between GPRS, CDMA, iDEN, Mobitex, DataTAC and CDPD wireless networks. The real-time messaging feature supports secure, private IM among WMS identities, public IM on MSN, Yahoo, AOL and ICQ as well as enterprise IM on leading servers including IBM Lotus IM (Sametime), Jabber XCP, Microsoft Live Communication Server and Exchange IM.

The service enables always-available access to data, instant messaging and presence awareness from a broad range of handheld wireless devices. WMP includes proprietary clients for BlackBerry™ (both J2ME and legacy devices), Palm (including Tungsten and Treo), Pocket PC devices, Windows Mobile 5.0 devices and phones, Motorola pagers, Nokia Communicator, SMS, BREW and J2ME-enabled handsets.
