Val Babajov - CEO and Founder
Babajov is an entrepreneur with 25 years of software development and project management experience. He started WebMessenger in his Los Angeles garage in 1993 and continues to lead the company, creating a market for secure wireless communications solutions. Babajov earned an MS in computer science and an MBA from the Higher Institute of Economics in Sofia, Bulgaria.
Joe G. Naylor – President
Before joining WebMessenger in 2005, Naylor served as vice president of sales and product development at j2 Global, a global unified-communications services company. Naylor has more than a decade of experience in product development, marketing and sales in such markets as IP communications software/services and fax communications hardware/software. In 2000, Naylor was responsible for the launch of eFax.com’s eFax Corporate service, the market-leading Internet fax service for SMBs and enterprises.
George Emilov - Chief Technical Officer
Emilov brings more than 18 years of software development and project management experience to WebMessenger. During his career, Emilov has designed and implemented complex systems for data acquisition communication servers and distributed systems; he has managed multi-million dollar projects and supervised more than 60 developers. He is experienced in multiple programming environments.
Dan Coole - VP Sales and Marketing
With 20 years of mobile industry experience,
Coole previously held VP roles at OZ Communications, the leading provider of consumer mobile messaging solutions, where he was responsible for the company’s device application business, as well as key partnering, product planning, and strategic development activities. Prior to OZ, Coole led key roles in market, product, and technology development for Ericsson, Mitsubishi Electronics, and Booz-Allen. Coole earned a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Penn State and a Master's in Systems Engineering from Virginia Tech.
Nikolay Bankov - VP Mobile and VoIP
As a project leader and senior software architect for over 7 years, Bankov has successfully lead many projects through their full life cycle. In WebMessenger as a VP Mobile he is leading his talented team of mobile platforms specialists to constantly creating new and improving our existing products and keep WebMessenger’s leading position in the mobile world. Nikolay brings to the company over 10 years of software development experience.
Boris Georgiev - VP Engineering
Boris brings 18 years of software development and project management experience. He is building, managing and administering a talented team of software specialists. His latest efforts are in direction of streamlining the company's operations, hosting infrastructure and enterprise customer support. Boris is overseeing numerous projects and is working to make WebMessenger Mobile Platform the best mobile messaging solution on the market.
Amir Hudda – Member Board of Directors
Mr. Hudda previously served as CEO for Apptix where he transformed the company from a business focused exclusively on selling hosted exchange services to a global business with a comprehensive suite of email, collaboration and voice solutions for SMBs. Mr. Hudda has raised almost $100M in financings through leading venture capitalists as well as U.S. and Norwegian investment banks and has also completed six M&A transactions valued at approximately $175M. Mr. Hudda holds a M.S. in Computer Science from Georgia Tech and a B.E. in Computer Engineering from PICT, University of Pune, India. |
